ITS CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS TIME, MISTLETOE AND WINEEEE
(I don't like wine so) MISLETOEE AND VODKAAAAAA.

ANYHOO it's 14 days until christmas....
That's like 13 sleep, oh my god I'm excited.
So yea, I know plenty of you are sat there worrying about Christmas, chocolates, dinner, cake, festivities! Everything.
I know I used to worry about it.
And it did take over my Christmas, I used to sit there, staring into nothing, whilst in my head there was uproar about the day, planning and planning and counting what I'm going to eat.
It was horrible, I hated it, I just wanted it to get out of my head.
What happened to waiting for Santa, and opening my advent calander all at once. Why was I now worried about one of the most amazing times of the year?
You have to remember that this isn't you, it's not your mind telling you to do these things!
You want to enjoy yourself, you want to be free! There's just something inside your head stopping you.
Free yourself. Let yourself be happy, you need to enjoy it. Christmas is once a year, but you know what else is okay?
To struggle. It's okay to sit there and admit you're finding the day hard.
It's okay to get upset.
It's okay to get angry and frustrated.
It's okay, and you know why?
Because you're only human, and you have the same respect from everyone no matter what day it is.
People understand. I know you think you're alone, but you're not, please don't ever think you are.

Now, PUT ON YOUR CHRISTMAS JUMPER!
stick your fingers right up to your eating disorder.
This is your day, you are going to enjoy it no matter what. And you know what, you will! I know you will, I believe in you.

I was so worked up for Christmas, so terrified, I thought of ways all day to hide away, but why?
I don't even know myself.
So I decided it was Opposite Day.
(So is every day by the way, unless they tell you to not go into the fire, then it's a normal day OKAY)

MY MINDSS TELLING ME NOOO, BUT MY BODY, MY BODYS TELLING ME YESSSS!
(I hope you sang that)
Listen to your body! You want cake, YOU EAT CAKE.
story, my brother got this massive cake for his 21st birthday and it was so so good! I had about 3 pieces of cake for breakfast, another 4 for lunch and like 5 for tea and snacks. I had cake everyday for about 4 days (until I ate it all and got shouted at but) it was so so good. I had it because I wanted it.

And to think last year I had only just reached my healthy weight range, I now eat cake for breakfast.
You can break free from this illness.
And a happy Christmas is way better than one spent upset and worrying about the day.

It's a time to enjoy yourself and love yourself.
Be spoilt, be happy, be a major food lover!
Xxxxx

meal plans and minnie maud

oh the dreaded word, meal plan. for anyone that doesn't know what a meal plan is then let me explain it to you, you basically have to eat around 6 times a day, breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, tea and supper. When you're in hospital well in my case its certain foods, if you wanted a chocolate bar you couldn't have one, you had to have what was on the snack list, which was awful. like so bland, like a cup of milk, i don't like milk. but when you are at home and recovering the meal plans are so much more flexible, you can pick your own snacks and everything and its just so much more freeing! meal plans move up in calories (eugh i hate that word), you start off on a starter meal plan, which is basically designed to avoid re-feeding syndrome. its tiny amounts of food little and often, which is terrifying for someone just starting recovery. when you move on with recovery it becomes a lot easier, your meal plans become increased or decreased due to how ...

challenge that change

you are going to change, your body will change, your brain will change. this is fabulous, you shouldn't fear it. why be a bag of bones when you can have a bum, and boobs, and legs to die for and a healthy glowing face, and long thick hair like a lion and bright eyes and.. right you get the point. ask yourself, have you ever felt good enough? has loosing weigh ever made you feel good? has being severely underweight ever made you feel skinny or thin enough? no. your eating disorder feeds you lies. the worst part is that you believe them. your eating disorder is your friend right? wrong. when has it ever made you feel good, when has it ever showed you kindness. i cant count one time anorexia was my friend, or made me feel good about myself but i have lost count of how many times its put me down and made me feel terrible. learn to love yourself, you curves, your legs, your personality, your querky smile. you need to embrace it all. why live a life hating yourself whe...

About me and my life x

I don't really know what to write about anymore, I love writing. I find I can express myself in ways I can't do physically. But, I guess I never want to talk about me? I try and pick a topic and write about it, but what if I want to just blab on about my day and how the lettuce on my sandwich was soggy for lunch. (World war problems soggy lettuce btw) So this is going to be about me, read on if you want, if not then I understand that my life doesn't interest you. (And my soggy lettuce) I'm happy. Sometimes I think I'm not, I talk myself into feeling like I'm unsuccessful in everything I set out to do. I put myself down before I've had a chance to work myself up! I guess that is a flaw of mine. I'm on medication for depression and I have been for just over 2 years. I'm at a point or was were I thought about bringing down my dosage, so I did, (doctors orders of course) and but by bit my happiness started to slide away. (I'd like to point out...
